About Oda Tatami Shokai Co., Ltd.
Oda Tatami Shokai Co., Ltd. has been manufacturing tatami mats, a Japanese traditional culture, since its establishment in 1981.
In 2001, the company received the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's "Outstanding Craftsmanship Award (Master Craftsman)," which recognizes outstanding craftspeople. In addition to conventional tatami, the company plans to develop new tatami products such as "washable tatami" and "tatami coasters" to exploit new market opportunities going forward.
